Alice in Wonderland is one of Fyhrwork's all time favorite characters. Why? Because she put aside her boring school book to learn the real way - through experience. Such empirical wisdom can only be gained by those curious enough and willing enough to take a few risks....so feed your head! Designed and completely hand crafted by Fyhrworks involving the usual insane amount of detailed close work for sweat shop wages, 9" Alice has been created from pure new wool felt, is jointed at shoulders and hips, hand painted, and has wool roving hair that is sewn and rooted. She is not intended for children under 3.Perhaps $50 seems like a lot of money to bid on a doll. Shoot! Fyhrworks can lay 30 bricks for $50 and in less than one fourth the time it took to create Alice, but, admittedly not when it's 8 degrees outside!! Go find another bricklayer, or anyone else for that matter, who can do a doll like this for the love or money! Thanks for reading the rant. Alice is really "wonderful", and did I mention that Lewis Carroll had to pay to have his books printed? Publishers thought they were fanciful crap - now that speaks volumes! And look! I just added the Cheshire Cat as a bonus piece. I spent a good part of the day designing and making him, and I have to admit that even I am pretty impressed! He has wired legs and tail so he can crouch or stand or whatever....
